The wait is over; Artificial Intelligence for Perception has made a big step forward! CogniMem 1K (1024 neurons AI chip) is available NOW in limited quantity for evaluation (10 per order maximum for now)!!!

CM1K has unique image and signal/pattern recognition capability and is suitable as a RoboSight module for hobbyist and education. Indeed it is designed for more stringent projects as well! Cm1K power consumption is 0.5 Watts @ 3.3 volts for 60 image recognitions par seconds.

Brute computational power is equivalent to 80 gigaoperations/second @ 27 MHz for one CM1K and multiply with the number of devices. The CM1K can interface with any image sensor (Micron MT9V022 is great and direct plug-in) or A/D for signal (EKG, sound), etc...) We are going to publish application notes for single chip object recognition and tracking.

CogniMem OEM module with 2048 neurons.

CM-E2K Expansion Board includes 2 CM-1K giving 2048 neurons and can directly connect to a digital video or signal source (8bits data width). CM-E2K can be configured to be accessed by the CM1K parallel bus or by the I2C two wires bus. Up to four CM-E2K can stacked on the top of each other, totaling 8192 neurons.

This module is compatible with the Image Recognition Board (RN.CM.IRB.1K) and the Evaluation Board (RN.CM.EB.1K) e.g. providing a total of 3072 Neurons).

This is THE CogniMem chip, a neural network chip for pattern learning and recognition. It has 1024 neurons. It is both a powerful model generator and non-linear classifier and the unique parallel architecture of its neurons offers two technological breakthroughs: a recognition time independent of the number of neurons in use and the ability to cascade multiple CogniMem chips to size the network at will. Chip control can be made through a paralell or I2C port.
