Kondo's KHR-2HV Humanoid RobotKondo's KHR-2HV Humanoid Robot Kondo's KHR-2HV is a new advanced humanoid robot whose motion is driven by 17 servos for 17 degrees of freedom. It is 34 cm tall and weighs 1.2 kg. It has a remarkable range of motion. The RS-232 interface provides a connection to a host computer for motion editing. It has improved servos and software over the previous KHR1. The Kondo KHR-2HV is sold as a kit which takes about 2 days to assemble.

The KHR-2HV is designed and manufactured by Kondo Kagaku Co.,LTD of Japan.

Kyosho's MANOI-AT01 RobotKyosho's MANOI-AT01 Robot Kyosho's MANOI AT01 is a 1/5th scale humanoid robot which was released in Japan fall of 2006, and is now available in the U.S. .

The MANOI is manufactured by Kyosho of Japan.

GCtronic's e-puck RobotGCtronic's e-puck Robot e-puck is the latest mini mobile robot developed at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) for teaching purposes. It is now manufactured by GCtronic, and available in the U.S. through RoadNarrows LLC.

e-puck is powered by a dsPIC processor and features a very large number of sensors in its basic configuration. The e-puck hardware and software is fully open source (www.e-puck.org) providing low-level access to every electronic device and offering unlimited extension possibilities.

By combining a powerful PC-class platform with a robust, object-oriented software development system, robotic solutions can be rapidly developed and deployed.
