Today, they are also one of the first companies to bring advanced humanoid robots to the hobby and educational market. Kondo's KHR-2HV is an advanced humanoid robot whose motion is driven by 19 servos for 19 degrees of freedom. It is 34 cm tall and weighs 1.2 kg. It has a remarkable range of motion. The USB interface provides a connection to a host computer for motion editing. The controller board is the RCB-3J which provides the capability to store many motions and scenerios. It has improved servos and software over the previous models. The Kondo KHR-2HV is sold as a kit which takes about 2 days to assemble. |
