KumoTek (www.kumotek.com) is a U.S. company based in Texas that was one of the first North American companies to import Japanese consumer robots onto the continent, and has established strategic relations with key players in the Japanese robot industry. Riding the wave of the growing popularity of humanoid robot platforms, and having the experience being in the industry when legged robots first set foot here, KumoTek has now created their own two-legged robot called the KT-X Gladiator. RoadNarrows is happy to be a partner with KumoTek and help support the KT-X as a robot platform for researchers, educators, and enthusiasts.
