RoadNarrows Products About RoadNarrowsRoadNarrows Robotics (www.roadnarrowsrobotics.com) is the prime activity of RoadNarows LLC (www.roadnarrows.com). RoadNarrows is a Colorado, USA based company with commercial and academic partners throughout the world who share in the advancement of robotic and intelligent systems. RoadNarrows has a small and growing staff of mechanical, electronic, and software engineers. We develop expansion modules and accessories for our commercial partners' product lines, strengthening our partners' portfolios while gaining expertise and capabilites. For our academic partners, we provide robotic platforms to their respective institutions for use in research and education. In addition, we develop hardware and embedded software for specific research efforts. RoadNarrows Robotics engineering is funded by RoadNarrows, NSF grants, and commercial contracts. 
The SkewlZone is a suite of products designed to augment legged robots. Essentially, SkewlZone is a brain and sensor pack. Many of the popular legged robots operate in open-loop with limited processing capabilities. That is, the robots have no or limited sensory input outside of servo position and speed data. The robots' supplied real-time controllers cannot process and integrate more complex sensory input. Augmenting a legged robot with the SkewlZone endows it with far greater potential. |
